Chess is a game that helps children develop thinking skills, problem solving abilities, confidence, and focus. Research shows that it can also enhance academic performance in subjects like mathematics and reading, while promoting patience, strategic planning, and effective decision making.
At our chess club, each student is assessed to understand their strengths and areas to improve. Regular check-ins track development, and parents of younger students can receive written feedback at request.
I’m an experienced chess player and Enhanced DBS certified coach, I have ran multiple clubs over the years at different schools and for different organisations. I enjoy helping students learn the game, build their skills, and grow to love chess.
Students can register for tournaments, private coaching, or school clubs through our online system.
